Users can now define page size and margins in the editor and preview intelligent page breaks — ensuring documents appear as expected both digitally and when exported as PDFs. This brings us closer to a hybrid world of screen-native and paper-friendly contracts. It enhances the “what you see is what you get” experience, supports layout consistency, and makes working with longer documents more predictable. A major UX step forward, especially for users preparing polished PDFs. External document import workflow
When importing a document from a 3rd-party, I want to be sure it follows all required workflow steps. That includes: Applying automated review Proposing / discussing changes Applying AI metadata analysis results Assigning the correct approvers Sharing with the right people internally Applying signature blocks if it will be signed in fynk Uploading final executed version if signed outside of fynk Routing notifications to the right person(s) Assign additionally required tasks for the right persons Templates do most of these jobs for fynk-created documents, but do not work as well for docs imported from word / PDF. Additionally, some of these (especially notifications & tasks) may need to be updated after the initial import. And creating a template for imported docs can be confusing because there’s no way to separate these templates from templates used to create internal documents. Ideally, one import flow would address all of these steps and this import workflow’s settings would be managed separately from first-party templates.
Conditional Dynamic Fields
Show dynamic fields only when relevant, based on previous answers or field values. This allows for cleaner, more user-friendly contract experiences where only applicable fields are shown. Example: In an employment contract, ask “Are you a British citizen?” — if the answer is yes, display additional required fields for British employment laws. Document handover
Add the option for a document handover. The use cases may vary. For example: -) If most of the documents are imported from a specific person or team, but they should not be the document owners and do not want to receive the corresponding document notifications. -) The document owner leaves the company, and another person inherits the documents and corresponding notifications. -) If there is a change in roles or duties within the company, so that other people need to own the documents.

Avoid Duplicate Uploads

Admins can link, flag, or remove duplicates with ease. Native G Drive / Sharepoint etc. Sync
For backup, archive, compliance, etc. purposes some customers wish to keep a copy of all agreements somewhere else. This can be achieved by manual export and/or with an API integration, but a native integration would make this easier.
Comments and proposals rework
Comment on exactly what you mean. Today a comment attaches to a whole paragraph, so pointing at one sentence marks everything around it. Soon you'll select the words you're talking about and comment on those, the way you would in any modern editor. Counterparties will actually find it. The most common thing we hear is that external reviewers don't notice comments exist and send their feedback by email instead — so the discussion leaves the contract, and the audit trail with it. Commenting is being made obvious for everyone who opens a document, including people who can only read it. Know why something was rejected. Right now a proposal is accepted or rejected and that's the end of it. You'll be able to reply before deciding, so the other side gets a reason rather than a silent no. See what happened in the activity log. Today it records that someone accepted or declined a proposal — but not which one. The log will show the change, the comment behind it, and who decided what.
Conditional Checkpoints
Trigger certain checkpoints only, if the criteria is met, based on dynamic field inputs. An example would be to let your Teamlead approve, if a discount of more than 5% is provided.
Reusable Content Blocks (Clause Library)
Create, manage, and reuse standardized contract clauses across all your templates. The Content Library enables legal and operations teams to centrally maintain approved company wording centrally, ensuring consistency and requiring updates only once. We’re improving how fynk supports international teams and multilingual contracts. Today, you can already work with contracts in many languages. Next, we’re making language handling more transparent and flexible and exploring ways to help teams understand, review, and collaborate on documents across languages. What we’re working towards: Clearer language settings (so it’s obvious what controls what) More flexibility over the language used in AI summaries and analysis (using credits) Better support for multilingual and international teams AI- document translation to help teams review contracts written in other languages (using credits)

Improve Playbook / Checkpoint UX + Settings
Improve the Interface to follow a central “Approvals” Logic, i.e. Approvals are the leading topic and the requirement for an approval can be either triggered by a stage (checkpoint), a metadata (conditional checkpoint, see @Implement Conditional Checkpoints) or the content (playbook, triggering a checkpoint). This needs to be re-structured so it is clearer for the user. + autoapply + cancel (e.g. when document's content has changed, playbook should be canceled) + rerun
Recycle bin for deleted documents and templates
Add a recycle bin for deleted documents and templates, so you can restore items that were deleted by mistake yourself, without contacting support. Deleted items would stay in the recycle bin for a set retention period before being permanently removed.
