Two PDFs, or two editor documents. A signed editor document still counts as an editor document. A PDF cannot be compared with an editor document.
Same view everywhere: added and deleted text highlighted, a list of changes to jump between, Diff view / Raw view, a revision picker on each side, and Swap sides.
On a document: overflow menu → Compare. Pick another document in fynk, or — for a PDF — a local PDF file.
On the documents list (table and kanban): Compare on a single row opens the same picker. Select exactly two compatible documents on the current page and Compare shows in the bulk bar. The older document is on the left.
In the AI chat: when someone asks for the exact wording, a redline, or a line-by-line view, the assistant offers a one-click card that opens this modal. A table of terms or “what changed” stays in the chat. A PDF uploaded into the chat can be one side.
The picker only lists compatible documents, and leaves out the one you’re comparing from.
