Undo accepted proposals

Problem

When collaborating on documents, proposals can sometimes be accepted accidentally.

Currently, once a proposal is accepted, it cannot be restored to its original “proposal” state. This means users cannot easily revert unintended changes and continue the review process as intended.

While revision diffs allow users to compare document versions, they do not restore the proposal itself, which can interrupt structured collaboration workflows.

Solution

Enable the ability to undo accepted proposals by restoring them to their original proposal state, allowing users to reopen and properly review changes if they were accepted unintentionally.

Benefits

  • 🤝 Safer collaboration in multi-user environments

  • ↩️ Reduced risk of accidental change finalization

  • 🧾 Better control during structured review processes

  • 🏢 Increased confidence for enterprise and audit-sensitive workflows
